Pamela Viviann Thompson passed away on December 21, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family and furbabies. Cremation has taken place under the Direction of Bright Funeral Home. Pam devoted her life to helping and caring for others through a lifelong career in Nursing. She had a passion and talent for drawing and painting as well as an unmatched love for her horses and animals that she passed down to her girls. She had a fiery personality and great sense of humor. She had a very diverse group of friends from very young to the old and she will be greatly missed by many. She was preceded in death by her parents Wayne L. Hawk, Helen Jacqueline Gruwell and her husband Matt L. Gruwell, A brother Wayne P. Hawk and her beloved husband and soul mate Martin A. Thompson. She is survived by her two daughters Jacqueline D. Norris and Crystal W. McCauley and husband Rusty McCauley and their families. She also leaves behind her furbabies that were her most loyal companions. There will be a private service at Fort Bayard National Cemetery as per her wishes. There will be a Celebration of her Life later. We ask that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the local animal shelter and horse sanctuary in her honor.
