She graduated from Lordsburg NM as valedictorian in 1953. She married Wayne Dickerson, the love of her life, on March 20, 1954. They lived together on the Dickerson Cattle Ranch for more than 66 years.
She had three sons and their wives which she treasured: Timothy Dickerson (deceased); Robert and his wife Katherine Dickerson of Las Cruses, NM; Jerry and his wife DaVonna Dickerson of Cliff, NM. She has four grandkids; Christopher and Susan Dickerson of Las Cruses NM, Chelsea Fuchs, and her husband Brandon of Edgewood NM; Tech Sgt Tiffany Arwine and her husband Mike of Anchorage AK. She also has two great grandchildren Temperance and Henry Fuchs of Edgewood NM. As a great, great, great aunt she enjoyed sharing time and adventures with her many nieces and nephews. She loved to spoil her family and church members by preparing exceptional meals.
She worshipped at the Gila Valley Baptist Church (GVBC). She demonstrated great love for her Lord and savior Jesus Christ dedicating her life in prayer and sharing the good news that Jesus had died to pay the price for our sins setting us free.
She was a member of the Grant County Art Guild for more than 40 years. One of her prize-winning paintings “Stay Molly” can be seen in the hallway of Gila Regional Medical Center next to the surgery center. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She loved making Christmas ornaments and custom cards.
