Obituary

Lucille Mary Anna DeHerrera 70 formerly of Silver City, New Mexico passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  A Graveside Service will be held at Hurley Cemetery in Hurley, New Mexico on  Monday, September 28, 2020 at 10:00am..  Lucille is survived by four brothers, Eloy DeHerrera, Ray DeHerrera, Chris DeHerrera, Raul Gonzales, nine sisters Janet Sanchez, Roberta Smith, Vickie Clark, Mary DeHerrera, Yolanda Yanguez, Della Marta, Tracy DeHerrera, Bo Smith, Melissa Burns, she is preceded in death by her father Eloy DeHerrera,  brothers and sisters Francine Velarde Margaret DeHerrera, Robert DeHerrera. Lucille is survived by her mother Rose Velarde, one daughter Veronica Trujillo, three sons Johnny Trujillo, Steven Trujillo, Tommy Rueda, grandchildren Felicia, Amanda, Ricky, Marky, Denisha, Roselyn, Milagro, Estevan, Ariana, Steven Jr., Tommy III, Ean, Larissa and twelve great grandchildren.  Lucille attended Western New Mexico University and received a criminal justice degree. Lucille once owned a flower shop in Silver City, NM named Lucilles’ Crafts. She enjoyed cooking at functions in her travel concession stand.  Always ready to assist anyone who needed help no matter the circumstances.  He was a hard worker and loved to do carpentry, tile, and loved painting.  She will greatly be missed by all who knew her.  Bright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, 210 W.
