Glenda McKee

February 14, 2021

Glenda McKee was born April 10th 1946, in Silver City, NM. She grew up in Whittier, CA but moved back to our beautiful southwest in her 30’s. She left us on February 14th with the utmost peace and grace while at home with her family, Valentine's Day is now more of a celebration of love and life for us. The fact that she was described as “Such a sweet lady” by all that she met, means all the more to us as well.

She always shared her thoughts and time with anyone that needed it and never knew a stranger. She was known for saying “the door is always open” because she opened her heart and home to all that needed it, providing a safe haven with a tasty meal and sage wisdom to share. Nobody could make plants grow like our mom, her love showed through her flowers, she didn’t even have to try in impossible situations, she made everything beautiful. She loved her chickens, dogs, horses, her gardens and good friends.

She was the proud and devoted mother to 5 children, and 4 beautiful grandchildren, all of whom will carry on her legacy and life lessons for the rest of our lives, reminding us that we can do anything, to have grand adventures and to always stop and smell the flowers! She will live on in us and in every person, who allowed her to touch their heart, even if it was only for a moment. She will be missed in ways that words fail to describe, but her life was full of so much wonder that the memories will be richer than the absence. Old soul wisdom & New age knowledge

Kindness mixed with strength & Amazing courage

Quirky, smart & Independent,

Mother Nature at her fiercest!

A searcher always looking for a new adventure...

A WHIRLWIND collecting us all in her a hen with her chicks.

A Legend in her own time, a FRIEND
