Betty Jo Allison "Granny" Daughter of James and Nellie Alsup of Socorro NM, Born August 19, 1930, Preceded in death to husband Morgan H Allison. Together they raised a daughter Terry and son Patrick Allison. Betty passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side November 23rd, 2020."There is occasions and causes why and wherefore in all things"

Betty was not just a Granny but she was a Granny to 61 of us, 15 Grandchildren, 41 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great Great Grandchildren, Betty was an amazing person who always showed up when you needed her, always said I love you, and always invited you into her home. Betty loved talking about History and our country and all her family who served and still serve this country in the Military she held this dear to her heart and it was a big part of who she was. She passed this down to many of her grandchildren and we thank her for this. Betty was a Military wife, she was a woman of many rules but you learned her rules had reasons and paths and she always wanted you to succeed and to shine, because she loved you. Betty had a passion for oil painting and was an amazing artist who stayed true to her brand. Betty believed when you do something to do it with integrity and grit. Betty loved gardening, cooking, scrabble, going for long walks and her cat snoopy. The Family would like to thank Dr Stanley and the Hospice team for taking care of our Granny.
